Publisher's summary

Oil prices are surging to record highs. A new dictator is rising in Iraq. China is threatening Taiwan. North Korean forces are ready to strike south. Israel is feverishly trying to complete the Third Temple....

And in the midst of a world ready to explode, American president James MacPherson's second term is ending. The battle to succeed him is heating up into the most fiercely contested presidential election in American history. Who will lead a bitterly divided country over the next four years? And just what role - if any - does the U.S. play in history's last days?

As the presidential campaign narrows into a dead heat, the Secret Service learns of a catastrophic terrorist plot to assassinate one of the candidates - but which one? Who do they want dead? And can U.S. forces stop the terrorists before millions lose their lives?

Down right scary!

This is the followup to the Copper Scroll, and picks up just months after the previous story ends. The plot goes beyond exciting to scary, scarier than anything else I've read in a while because it is so near to reality. Don't want to ruin it for you, but if you read the others you have to get this one. I'm interested to see if Rosenberg continues the story to it's conclusion and how he treats the biblical topics.

Need More Joel C. Rosenburg

Great book and great narration. The only problem is that this is the last book in a series of books (The Last Jihad). It's worth it even if haven't read the previous books.

Better than Tom Clancy

I have truly enjoyed this work by Joel Rosenberg on several levels. First, he is a great story teller that maintains suspense and several threads going in parallel leading a a 'big event'. Second, I think his interpretation of Ezekiel has been an eye opener for me, and I find it has value. In this last book, Joel got a wee bit heavy on the preachy side, but it was consistent with the growth of the characters, and I enjoyed it.

Spellbinding Author

I have just discovered Joel Rosenberg's writings and find them to be spellbinding. Audible should offer all of his books.

Great Story, Great audio book

This is the first book of Joel Rosenberg's that I have listened to, and I chose this book after hearing numerous interviews with him. What an inspiring, action packed novel, with great scriptural prophecy and political thrills. I loved this and have been recommending it to everyone I know.

Edge of your seat great book

Fantastic book, jumps you right into the book from the beginning and holds you right to the end. It was also easy to follow though it is book 5 in the series and I read it first. Highly recommended!!

Read the reviews before listening.

After listening to this book, I realized that I need to start reading the reviews. If i would have known what the book was all about i wouldn't have downloaded. Just not my tast in books. I'm sure if you like the Left Behind series, you'd love this one...

Don't waste your time and money

I wish I had known in advance that the core of this book was built around Bible prophecies and the "final days" scenarios. Utterly silly overlay of "come to Jesus" moments with spy novel and war scenarios. The end is totally ridiculous and beyond the pale of anything approaching beleivability. I woudl give no stars if that option were allowed.
