    Story
"Already looking for more of her books"
What made the experience of listening to Dangerous Affairs the most enjoyable?

Good flow with this story. There were some twists that added to the intrigue of the plot. Interesting characters, but not so many that it was hard to remember who was who. Any story is better when there are good chuckles. There was suspense, romance, laughs and plot twists. What more could a reader ask for.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Dangerous Affairs?

When she showed her daughter the school where she had gone as a kid. There were memories and suspense and a good laugh about learning to cut with scissors.

What about Karen White’s performance did you like?

Karen White is a consistent narrator. I recognized immediately that she had read some of the Miss Julia books.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, I pretty much listened to the book in one sitting. I listen while I do my crafts and find it helps to have a book that keeps me settled in for the long haul. However, it is also difficult when the story is over before my project is done. I hope her next book is longer.

    Any additional comments?

When is the next book going to be published and recorded?

    "good mystery"
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

    great mystery for the price

What three words best describe Karen White’s voice?

I have so many of her stories now, she can make a males voice fun, or sexy but her female voice is not so great. It ok as she reads the story with the correct pace which helps
    a lot.

Was Dangerous Affairs worth the listening time?

yes, as it is a good mystery

    "Pretty Good!"

I was pleasantly surprised with this book, I just took a chance on it as I'd never read this author before. I really liked this book! Good story, good narrator, worth a credit. I was completely shocked to find out who the stalker/killer was! I never even considered this person until the scene where you find out who it is. Hope to see more from this author and narrator on Audible.

I love all genres of books. However, when I listen to audio books as I clean, garden, drive they are better with a lot of heat!

    "Hot Romance and a Stalker"

What a great romance and set in the state of Minnesota. Abby comes home to Minnesota when she divorces her cheating husband after one too many affairs. She wants her daughter Maddie to have the wonderful childhood that she did not. Abby's parents were both drunks and her father threw in some physical abuse too. Enough that Abby learned to block out all the bad memories until therapy after her divorce started unblocking them.

Luckily, Abby was informally adopted by her best friend Laura's parents Bill and Mary. They are all still in her hometown to provide love and support. But Abby also seems to have attracted a stalker with her return home. It seems someone believes that the cheating adulteress she portrayed on a popular soap opera was the real Abby. Such a belief was aided by Abby's not defending herself when the press painted her as the one who had affairs that ended her marriage. Even the local police chief Josh has trouble separating the actress from the reality. Of course, Josh has the slight excuse of being in the process of getting over his own divorce and his own cheating wife.

At first, Josh is certain that Abby is manufacturing the stalker for publicity but it doesn't take long for him to see Abby as she really is. He begins investigating the stalker episodes and investigating the steadily more realistic dreams that Abby is having about a murder. Of course, things are even more complicated by a reappearance of the cheating husband and Josh's former young girlfriend who doesn't want to let him go.

This was a good mystery too. The identity of the stalker and his motives came as a complete surprise to me.

I really enjoyed this story and will be looking for more by this author.

    "Nice.."
    Any additional comments?

This was a real entertaining read. The minute you thought the stalker was found-out, he wasn't.
I liked Josh and Abby. He was a little disbelieving at first but he came around. And I liked how they fell in love
slowly, rather than falling in love after 3 seconds. I do hate it when the hero and heroine fall in love as soon as they meet.
I liked Laura and Kim, too. They were such good friends. And Maddie was a nice kid. Colin was a real self-centered jerk.
There was good sexual tension and sex in this book. Which made it all the better.

I got this book free with my KindleUnlimited but I would have no problem paying for it. And the audible was free too. I like to just read along.

As to the narrator: She was good. Not great but I would listen to her again. She didn't do a real good job on the men's voices but they were ok.
