just love Patricia Cornwell
Ugly villains per usual with demented preferences. All my favorite characters earlier in their histories as I've read more recent books. Really enjoyed reading about her relationship with her niece at 16 and dealing with career sabotage.

Title doesn’t match the story
It was a good book. It had a lot of intrigue and kept my interest. But why it’s titled Cruel & Usual I don’t understand because for its genre, it wasn’t that cruel or unusual.
