Ruthless in its pursuit of critics and enemies, the Church hides a sinister agenda known only to its ruling elite.

But Jack can be ruthless, too, going to darker lengths than ever before as he crisscrosses the two fix-it jobs to settle the deadliest of scores.

"Repairman Jack doing what he does best"
Where does Crisscross rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is a good light listen. I just finished two Ludlum books and needed light fast paced and good so - Here it is...
Christopher Price did a great job narrating.

What other book might you compare Crisscross to and why?

It can only be compared to other Repairman Jack books. Wilson has a certain style and Jack can be a bit predictable but, without being a spoiler I did not expect this ending.

    Which scene was your favorite?

The final scene with the church leader.

    Any additional comments?

I was sorry for with the way it turned out for the nun. Not surprised though, I think the woman had some problems. Also did not expect what happened with the church founder - Wow! All in all this was a good listen. These books are not deep but they make a great listen and Jack is a good even if maybe a little shady hero.

    "Doublecrossed"
What would have made Crisscross better?

The writing was plodding, the story tedious, the characters uninteresting. Repairman Jack needs an overhaul. I blame myself for purchasing a book whose two major plots focused on such obvious themes: a nun having an affair (old fashioned--she would have left the convent if she had half a mind) and a dubious cult modeled after Scientology. Better would be less flatulent, detailed writing (give me a break--a fat villain with a taste for liverwurst and onion sandwiches), a heroine on the verge of a miscarriage, and some dubious racial slurs, whether or not intended. I intend to request a refund.

Would you ever listen to anything by F. Paul Wilson again?

    Never!

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

No redeeming qualities other than the blurb promoting the book and the five star rating other readers gave it.
