Paranormal investigator Ellie Jordan faces a difficult new case. Her new clients are a family haunted by multiple ghosts and a poltergeist that wrecks their home at night. Their seven-year-old son's invisible friends may not be imaginary at all but the restless spirits of dead children. To clear her clients' house of the dangerous entities, Ellie must unravel the mysterious deaths of another family who lived in the old mansion more than 160 years ago, and she must do it before the ghosts can carry out their malevolent designs on her clients and their children.

This was a great follow up to the previous book. This is a fast paced and exciting book. I can't wait for the next one.
I live to ride my bike.
This is such an enjoyable series. Yea, Yea, it does have a basic format that does not change and the story is predictable.
The history of this haunted house is interesting. Stacey -- Ellie's spunky and optimistic sidekick, is still naïve. She has a persistent desire to be in the thick of things never realizing that the truck is the best location to see ghost and stay unharmed.
We learn more about each character which adds to our enjoyment and a bonding of the characters. The motivation for the characters to chase ghost add to the enjoyment of the story.
I read the first book in this series and decided to get this one to listen to as I knitted.
To begin with, the narrator was really good. She did a great job of telling the story. Unfortunately the story let her down.
I found the repetitions of background to be frustrating, eg we know how the "stamper" works you don't need to tell us every time you pick it up.
I found, and this is purely subjective, the characters dimness to be frustrating. Hiding details, being unable to make perfectly simple connections, non communication, etc
There were no real surprises in the plot
I love urban fantasy and paranormal romance, but young adult and mysteries are also favorites.
These books are definitely not boring, but not too scary as long as you don't listen to them when you're alone late at night. It seems like we might get some romance in the coming stories. I do wish the main plot it the series had moved forward in this book, but it was barely mentioned.
The story gripped me from the beginning. I listened completely enraptured by the story and where it was going, and i was truly disappointed when it reached the end, not because the story was bad, but because it was over! i want more and can't wait to hear more about Ellie and her ghost hunting whodunits. Excellent!
as usual, the narrator did a great job. she has a nice voice to listen to.
easy story, good character build up, funny. I just enjoy these kinds of books that I can get lost in.
First this book was another great read. I really enjoy the ghost trapper series. This book has the same great characters as the first novel in the series. The author keeps us on the edge of our seats by her graphic descriptions of the ghosts. Love this series I will be reading the next.
I'm downloading book three as I write this!!! love these books, I'm still looking around the house for creepy crawlies, I was at the end of the book and my dog started growling at a shadow, I about peed my pants before I got up enough courage to go turn on a whole bunch of lights hallway, living room and more than one in the kitchen, where I was sitting crocheting haha Great books!!! Perfect amount of horror and humor!!
"Not My Cup Of Tea Per Se, But Rather Interesting."
As above. I came across this story and simply decided to have an intrigued listen.
