Publisher's summary

Eve Dallas is the tough lieutenant hot on his trail, but this is unlike any case she’s ever been assigned - or any killer she’s ever pursued. A police sketch based on eye-witness testimony reveals the killer has green skin, swollen red eyes, goblin ears, and a dislocated jaw-structure that defies the human form. Is it a mask? Is it make-up? Or is the explanation more sinister? Dallas faces off against multiple suspects - all of them students of medicine capable of precisely slicing the ears, noses, and eyes of the three victims. But who had the motive? More importantly, what kind of rogue science are these healers practicing?

Shorter than usual, but intriguing.

Another good story but a bit predictable. Still fun to listen to though. Mr Hyde.

Another great book!

I love, love, love this entire series from JD Robb (Nora Roberts)! The stories have humor, drama, romance, and mystery combined. Susan Erickson is by far the best narrator of all the audiobooks I have listened to so far. She does a great job making the voice of each character unique and recognizable. I can't wait for the next book in the series!

Chaos in Death

This is a novella that seems as if was written for Halloween. Susan Ericksen does a great job narrating the story. The story takes place after Eve Dallas's return from Dallas Tx which was the last book in the series. The story is short but enough action to keep one listening. Makes a nice change of pace between reading much longer books.

I have no idea.

A nice short mystery

Sometimes in a series the short stories stuck in between the longer ones are trite and seem to rush the story too much; not so in this J.D. Robb mystery. I enjoyed this story and, of course, also enjoyed the Susan Ericsson's narration.
