One of my favorite Roberts books
I just loved this story. It was so thoughtful and sweet. It had the Nora Roberts stamp, of a love story mixed with suspense and murder. Why do I love that mixture so much?!? I always know I’ll be taken for a ride and left with a happy ending.
The narrator did a good job for having so many different voices to keep straight. Nice and easy.

Good
Would you listen to Black Hills again? Why?
The story was a little predictable, But it was the kind of fast food for the mind I was looking for... Nick did a great job...I liked the pace and timbre of his read.

Farley, just cuz he was sooo dang cute!
What does Nick Podehl bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I liked the comfortable timbre and pace with with he read...it was very soothing

good story
It started out kind of slow and I didn't think I'd like it and almost stopped. Glad I didn't! It was very good. Liked the narrator and the characters were good and interesting.
