Wish a girl read it

Good book by a great author. I do wish someone younger or a female would have read it, but I did like this guys voice as a narrator.

I thoroughly enjoyed this performance. I've read the book before but Tom definitely added dramatic factor that had me looking over my shoulder and jumping at strange sounds. highly recommended!

Would love a sequal to this book.

Kept me interested. Hard to leave. Some things became more interesting as more details emerged. Great narration.

yes, he does well. I like that he changes his voice for each character. As well as puts emotion into it.

Great story, full of surprises.

This a story that starts off felling very predictable, but the author is able to convey the characters and plots with twist and turns. It is a wonderful read.

Before I wake

I enjoyed this book very much, good story, well written. The end however left wide open perhaps for a sequel. The narrator was wonderful, keeps listner's in consent supense, was excellent.

Dee Henderson is amazing and prolific!!!

I felt like this is a great story; but a lot of questions remain unanswered. for instance did she set aside her security blanket to take a chance on the sheriff to see if he would be The One? the business with the plant shutdown was a little too unexplored and were they going to come up with more options for the town and they must certainly have more than 52 people unemployed also with all the other businesses in Justice they should be able to attract new business and perhaps cross dock warehousing since they were a natural way point to Chicago. speaking of which where are the trucking and logistics companies. see what I mean the town felt like a cardboard cutout of a town. with that many smart people they could attract some serious industry. Also the villains had actions but not motives. they were people but not feeling like people. Some of these unanswered plot holes made me think Ms Henderson intended to extend into a couple more books around this town. Did she just loose interest. here's a clue. the world doesn't have to be ending in order to have interesting growth in relationships, communities and romance. Also; the development of one's faith as their worldview expands, can be breathtaking. I've read most of Dee's early works this book and the Witness; are the only exceptions to her Flawless writing. This is why I still give these 2 books such high marks because I know what she's capable of and they're still great books. I just didn't want to have too imagine Ray's choices and putting a nice neat bow on the town overcoming it's growing pains in the midst of loss.

Excellent book. Just finished it and I wish she write a sequel, characters are good and believable, Also nice to listen without a lot of sex and bad language.
