captivating

A wonderful book wonderfully read. This mystery had just enough enticing twists and turns and interesting characters to keep my attention. I have the sense that it may be a book better listened to than read in hard copy. The reader does a superb job.

A pleasant surprise

What made the experience of listening to Beautiful Lies the most enjoyable?

The plot is interesting and the narrator has an educated accent and nice voice. I enjoyed this listen very much. Only in the final conclusion does it get a bit corny/predictable, but the overall experience was very positive! Thanks!

This is an excellent story! Good plot line and character development. It was very easy and pleasant to visualize the characters. The narration is first rate. Well written in first person dialouge.

Predictable

Predictable, but a reasonable read. Doesn't grab you but keeps your interest enough see it through.

Amazing in every way

This book may have a confusing beginning, but once it starts the ball just keeps on rolling all the way until the end. So many different twist one would have never thought of. If you like mystery and thrillers this book is meant for you.

Hard to stay interested

I love Lisa Unger books but the reader is so boring I had a really hard time focusing on the story.

Beautiful Lies

Great listen! Could not wait to get back on the road to listen while I was driving. Interesting characters, great narration and excellent pulse-pounding story line of deceit and intrigue. Some of it's was a bit redundant at the end; however, I was entertained in an unexpected and surprising way. Rarely do I rate titles but when this book ended I knew I had to share my thoughts.

Liked this book. However, at some points there was too much detail Tended to encourage to skip forward.
