good listen

Great story! I always love hearing about the FBI power couple in action. Of course their love is infectious to every single person mentioned in the story.

wow! MEH!

I love C.C.'s FBI series...except for this one. I have all the previous books in the series. I've listened to them multiple times because I enjoy them. This one is not up to par. I couldn't get by the lisp of the narrator. I have listened to Diana Hurst in other Books and liked them. But I would recommend you preview this one before you buy. I can't comment on content of the book. I imagine it will be quite good!

Loved It

If you could sum up Backfire in three words, what would they be?

Suspense, fascinating and riveting

Any additional comments?

I was so absorbed in this story, that while I was working around the house I finished in a record time. WOW. I will read more of her books ASAP. Many books in my wish list. Really good.

Love Catherine Coulter's FBI Thrillers.

Love Dillion and Sherlock. They make you feel as if you are in the book with them. Can't wait to see what they do next.

An Outstanding Performance!

The story seems to be typical of Catherine Coulter's FBI series. The best patr of this book is the performance. What I usually hear with a two person performance is the male narrator reading from the male's point of view voicing the female's role like a single person read. Then the female will read from the woman's point of view, again voicing the man's role as in a single person read. This book, however, the men's dialogue is all done by the male reader; and the women's dialogue is all read by the woman, no matter who is doing the background narration. Very similar to an old radio program. An Outstanding Performance.

Disappointed

Is there anything you would change about this book?

If I was a writer I would make this book an equal to Iris's usual work.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Backfire?

Getting to the end.

What three words best describe Jim Meskimen and Deanna Hurst ’s performance?

They were great, it was the story that was poorly writen

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

I doubt it.

A Tale Between

If you could sum up Backfire in three words, what would they be?

It was an interesting twist bring a past and present together. I did like it better than Split Second. The children in the book bought some life into the story. .

Any additional comments?

It is not a bad story line it did bring you up to date on other characters in a previous book (Target).

Great Book !!!!!!

I love all of Catherine Coulter's books. This one is one of my favs. Thanks for a great time. Eve and Harry are two of my favorite characters. Right up there with Coop and Lucy. Hope to see all four in a book someday.
