Great Classic

Agatha Christie always writes an entertaining story, and this one did not disappoint! Narration was enjoyable and added to the suspense. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing

Wow what a fantastic read. This is my first Agatha Christie novel and by God I’m ready for another one. The narrator was phenomenal and each character voice was distinct and perfect.

Dated for Sur2

This is a classic murder mystery and one of my favorites. That said, it's definitely a product of its times and there are biases that might leave modern readers feeling uncomfortable.

Agatha Christie writes a fun mystery

I thought Dan Stevens did such a great job keeping all of his different characters voices separated from each other. This story has many moving parts and knowing exactly who is speaking and when is integral to this story. Regarding plot the use of the nursery rhyme is clever and creepy. It’s not one of her best stories in my mind but for how short of an audiobook you get it is so well performed that I recommend listening to this one!

Freaked me out!!!

I had a hard time trying to decide whether to give this 1 or 5 stars. I went with 5 stars because Christie is an amazing writer and Stevens is one of the best narrators I've ever heard. I don't do scary/suspense and so this book completely freaked me out. I now have nightmares about being trapped on an island with twisted psychotic murderers. I couldn't stop listening to this book! I figure that any book/narrator combo that holds that kind of power deserves 5 stars. I won't be listening to it again, but I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes creepy murder mysteries.

Thriller

This book is definitely a quintessential Agatha Christie mystery.

An array of characters are brought together to spend some time in a lavish house, in what seems as total happenstance. However there is more than meets the eye to this coincidental grouping of characters as death and mayhem ensue and secrets are brought out into the open. The ending is completely unexpected. This book is a great start for anyone delving into the murder mystery genre. Highly recommended and Dan Stevens narration really grips the reader into imagining the characters as real.
