Once I went in, there was no coming out until the last word of the last chapter.

Intense

This story caught me off guard. It is well written with lots and twist and turns. Vivid imagery helps to create a book I couldn't wait to finish.

Creepy & Disturbing

this storyline embedded you in the characters and their lives. The graphic description of the torture scenes was engrossing and gross at the same time. a truly enjoyable read. I will look up more titles by this author and narrator for future downloads.

Crazy suspenseful thriller!

What made the experience of listening to Abducted the most enjoyable?

The suspense the writer and narration had. What's creepier than spiders?

What did you like best about this story?

I was holding my breath what felt like the whole time.

Have you listened to any of Kate Rudd’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Kate Rudd is one of my favorite narrators! She's fantastic!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Several times I was left with the heebie-jeebies!

GREAT BEGINNING TO A SERIES!

I enjoyed this first book in what I know is going to be a great series! I'm not sure why the ratings are 4-stars across the board but I felt it deserved 5-stars for the story. I've just purchased the next 4 books in the series and am looking forward to many hours of listening entertainment. Do I think Kate Rudd is the best narrator...probably not but she's certainly not the worst I've heard previously. And I don't think her narration distracts at all which is why I gave Performance a 4-star rating.

I liked this book. My only issues with it? It was longer than it needed to be. Also it started so strong but the last hour seemed over dramatic.

I have never had any experience with this author before. the story was amazing! The characters were well rounded. I loved the entire story.

What other book might you compare Abducted to and why?

I can't compare it. It was a true thriller.

When she thought she had found the right house and she didn't. It was a rollercoaster.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Abducted! Will the past save her from her present? It would make a great movie.

Loved the suspense

A New Fan

I loved it, but I had to rewind a couple of times because it was kind of confusing with the author jumping back and forth between dates.

Very entertaining

My second review. I didn't know what to expect from this story either. The narrator was perfect for the story. Lots of situations were handled nicely. Not too many adult situations or graphic langue. A somewhat mild combination of adult themes but sill well written with believable characters.
