"An British accent for a story set in the US?"

    The story is great. Suspenseful.
A British accent is great for a story based in the UK, not in the US. Somehow, the hick or southern drawl is not very convincing when attached to a polished English accent! 😉

Yes I generally like Jeffery Deaver's writing

Has A Maiden's Grave turned you off from other books in this genre?

definately not, I love this genre, this was just badly done

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

The reading was good, but the story was just not up to the usual Deaver novels
