Publisher's summary

#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • THE BLOCKBUSTER JACK REACHER SERIES THAT INSPIRED TWO MAJOR MOTION PICTURES AND THE STREAMING SERIES REACHER

“Reacher gets better and better. . . . [This is the] craftiest and most highly evolved of Lee Child’s electrifying Reacher books.”—Janet Maslin,
The New York Times

A bus crashes in a savage snowstorm and lands Jack Reacher in the middle of a deadly confrontation. In nearby Bolton, South Dakota, one brave woman is standing up for justice in a small town threatened by sinister forces. If she’s going to live long enough to testify, she’ll need help. Because a killer is coming to Bolton, a coldly proficient assassin who never misses.

Reacher’s original plan was to keep on moving. But the next 61 hours will change everything. The secrets are deadlier and his enemies are stronger than he could have guessed—but so is the woman he’ll risk his life to save.

Take another thrill ride with Jack Reacher.

I just love Lee Child ... completely

Usually I hate when an author goes into extreme detail as I feel it is a "filler" for the book. Lee Child does it in such a way to truly paint a perfect picture for you to "see" the situation in detail, and "feel" it as it happens.

This book is no exception, and the details make for a perfect picture for a fantastic book. There is so much excitement and puzzlement that you cannot stop listening.

You will love it!

Any additional comments?

One of the better ones. Sometimes it drives me insane with the over the top attention to details.

I'm ready for Lee Child's next book w/ Reacher

I've read or listening to all of the Jack Reacher books. Lee Child is not losing any momentum with this character. This was outstanding in every way and Dick Hill (of course) did a superb job. I love his narrations anyway and he was masterful with 61 Hours.

Interesting; nice and long.

I've only read about 4 Reacher books, but I enjoyed the story. It was pretty original, pretty complex, and the suspense was sustained throughout. Sad end.

Dick Hill is a great audible narrator.

Dick Hill is a great audible narrator. Love his vocal inflections and his reading the page when there's an emotional scene and then shifting gears when a character is doing something casual. Jack reacher books really come alive with his performance. this was my first real listen from start to finish with an audiobook. Loved every minute of it.
