#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • THE BLOCKBUSTER JACK REACHER SERIES THAT INSPIRED TWO MAJOR MOTION PICTURES AND THE STREAMING SERIES REACHER

“Reacher gets better and better. . . . [This is the] craftiest and most highly evolved of Lee Child’s electrifying Reacher books.”—Janet Maslin,
The New York Times

A bus crashes in a savage snowstorm and lands Jack Reacher in the middle of a deadly confrontation. In nearby Bolton, South Dakota, one brave woman is standing up for justice in a small town threatened by sinister forces. If she’s going to live long enough to testify, she’ll need help. Because a killer is coming to Bolton, a coldly proficient assassin who never misses.

Reacher’s original plan was to keep on moving. But the next 61 hours will change everything. The secrets are deadlier and his enemies are stronger than he could have guessed—but so is the woman he’ll risk his life to save.

Take another thrill ride with Jack Reacher.

Reacher is a dull dude now.

Disjointed. Not a good effort. I think Lee Child has sold this series to somebody. Not even close to the other books. Skip it unless you are like me and buy each one as soon as they come out.

All the essential JR... And then some

I loved this chapter in Jack reacher ' s life journeys. ... The descriptions of the brutal cold had me shivering and turning up the heat. .. reminders of winners past in Minnesota. Thank God for California! I also really enjoyed this side of reacher. . crazy ending! I need to go back and listen to it again!

Clever

Another great read. More than I expected to have happened in a tiny town in the Dakotas.

Loved it.

I love all these Reacher books! This one is a little slower paced than some of the others. It saves a lot of the punch for the end.

Does not disappoint!

Remarkably complex and full of the kind of adventure on Reacher can have. Dick Hill’s narration is perfectly suited to Reacher’s situations.

Asses kicked, names taken

Damn, another excellent Jack Reacher novel! Starts a bit slow but ends in a frenzy of action.

Reacher is ALWAYS a good read!

I'm not sure if I gave this 4-stars based on the book itself or because I enjoy the Jack Reacher character so much. Always exciting, always near-"superhuman" (hint: don't get in a bar fight with him, ever.) At any rate, this is all-in-all exciting, and with some unexpected plot twists that make it even a little bit unusual for this series. Highly recommended for fans of this genre.
