#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • THE BLOCKBUSTER JACK REACHER SERIES THAT INSPIRED TWO MAJOR MOTION PICTURES AND THE STREAMING SERIES REACHER

“Reacher gets better and better. . . . [This is the] craftiest and most highly evolved of Lee Child’s electrifying Reacher books.”—Janet Maslin,
The New York Times

A bus crashes in a savage snowstorm and lands Jack Reacher in the middle of a deadly confrontation. In nearby Bolton, South Dakota, one brave woman is standing up for justice in a small town threatened by sinister forces. If she’s going to live long enough to testify, she’ll need help. Because a killer is coming to Bolton, a coldly proficient assassin who never misses.

Reacher’s original plan was to keep on moving. But the next 61 hours will change everything. The secrets are deadlier and his enemies are stronger than he could have guessed—but so is the woman he’ll risk his life to save.

Take another thrill ride with Jack Reacher.

Dick Hill is a natural!

Dick Hill is a great narrator!
He makes you feel like you're standing right next to Reacher just as he's about to lower the boom on some tough guy.

good read

it is good. My only fault with it was that it got pretty circular at time and seemed to bog down. And, yes, I do understand the story is about waiting.

Love the more human approach to Jack Reacher

I love how this book is an immediate follow up to the last and it presents Jack Reacher as more Human he is not the unstoppable hand to hand guy he normally is due to an issue in the previous book. Overall this is a great addition to the series and highly recommend after reading the previous book.

Reacher Out in the Cold?

A bus full of old folks, an elderly ex-librarian, a 4' 11" bad guy and Reacher out in the sub-zero cold of South Dakota. Is this the odd combination that finally does him in? I've listened to every Reacher novel and this one had the feel of the original (Killing Floor) crossed with a bit of the small-town flavor of Nothing to Lose. The plot is not overly complex nor are the characters extremely developed, with the exception of one. There is some fun and intrigue in Reacher seeking help from the person who now holds his old military MP job in the 110th- and it's a woman! I get the feeling that character may be seen again if and when the series continues. Dick Hill does another fabulous job at narration, keeping his perfect streak alive. This starts slow, but ends with a bang.

Bus Ride to Hell

This is a solid entry into the Jack Reacher series as our hero finds himself among a group of senior citizens stranded on a bus outside a small town. What develops as the plot twists and turns is classic Reacher. Not intending to get tied up in the murder mystery surrounding this small town located outside a state prison, Reacher can't help himself as local law enforcement pleads for his assistance. While a very discernable listener will have figured out the plot twist toward the end, it is nonetheless enjoyable.
Once again Dick Hill delivers with his clear sharp voice telling the story. Get this one. it is a great listen.
