I found my boyfriend mid-thrust in a vampire. Gross. WTH, right? Also, a fork might've been thrown. I expected to spend the night commiserating with my best friend. That didn't happen. I found myself on a mission to save her. And somehow, I woke up in the back of a vehicle, across from a guy who could be described as literal sex on a stick. Then I found out a few things: He's seriously and overwhelmingly powerful. He's hot, like holy cannoli hot. He's the Big Bad that I've been sensing, but no one knew what kind of a Big Bad he was. Oh, and apparently, he's kidnapped me.

Fun, Quirky
Vicky and Jill have found a new yoga instructor! Excited to be near such a handsome man, Jill becomes creeped out since she keeps catching his eyes on her … throat! Vicky scoffs at the idea of a yoga instructor being a vampire. Jill has to wonder if she is overreacting, and if the yoga instructor is just socially awkward. Here’s to hoping for romance!
The author, Glenn Stevens weaves a fun story around vampire lore. The story is very short, and the characters are very basic. However, it is the dialogue that helps them to develop in a more engaging manner. Jill and Vicky are great characters that do not take a lot to make them relatable – we all have friends like them! In addition, the plot twist that Glenn Sevens throws in at the end is both fun and totally unexpected!
The narrator, Stephanie Crugnola captures the essence of the girls and the yoga instructor well. The lilt she adds to each of the girls is tinged with their personality – Jill the worrier, and Vicky the devil may care scoffer. She speaks clearly and with enthusiasm at the peak moments of tension and fear. I enjoyed her performance.
Although I found the premise of the story to be oddly different, it was fun and quirky, The ending was totally unexpected! I enjoyed this brief glance into the peculiar mind of Glenn Stevens!
