Publisher's summary

Eizo has mastered mithril sword repair and is looking forward to new experiences, new commissions, and new metals!

When a mysterious woman requests a custom katana, Eizo's passion is ignited. There's just one problem—the client is a demon, and her people have had a complicated and historically violent relationship with humans. Since Eizo desires a peaceful life, can his conscience withstand forging a god-tier weapon for humanity's former enemy?

Along with a new commission, Forge Eizo also receives a new family member: an adorable drake called Krul! Unfortunately, navigating wingless dragon ownership isn't the only trial ahead. Aggressive monsters suddenly appear and start coordinating attacks, so Eizo must join up with military forces to defend the kingdom from the onslaught. Between forging a demon sword, fighting hostile beasts, and supporting his diverse household, can Eizo still make time for a quiet life?

Forget Eizo grows.

The Eizo family grows, and the legend of Foarge Eizo grows as well. Eizo gets a custom commission from a demon, and a big sword commission for a campaign against a monster spawn area.

Disappointed to learn the author doesn't know as much about swordsmithing as I hought

Good book. Like the slow pace which makes it easy to listen while I work. I am very disappointed about all the bad info it gave about Kaya as though and now I don't trust any sword info in the book. Sounded like the author must've used like Wikipedia and not consulted a smooth or sword expert.

Narrator should probably use a different voice for female characters rather than a raspy Gollum voice

Not that great

Don't really recommend this book it's really boring everything about it is weak it's well made has a decent flow but the overall story and the character development or I should say the lack of character

development not to mention their personalities are all very boring and as the story goes on there's no real progression in my opinion series has

drastically gone down since book one I'm not sure if I'm going to bother going on with his book series as for the fellow who is reading this book does male voices pretty well but that's it he's not

necessarily bad but he can not do women's voices and he doesn't really excited to well you just can't give these characters for this book any real life there's no energy in it also the author uses a

massive crutch on repeating the same words over and over again it sounds a lot like he's using words as a filler also really detract from the quality of book
