a wonderful mystery
a wonderful story with suspense all the way through, I enjoyed remembering the English language that I I've lived in the states for so long forgotten part of it. I recommend this story to everyone who likes this type of mystery.

Main character not as expected
I loved the books before this one in the series. In this story, the main character changed pretty dramatically. She was not the competent, level headed detective leading a close group of friends as she was in the other stories. She was a brat with petty grudges against her friends and a lot of half-baked suspicions without supporting evidence. And an injury that felt like a cop out to get out of creating settings for the story. The story had interesting elements but they were not as fully developed. I sympathize with the struggle to keep a character up to scratch, and this time it didn’t work out.
