Opposites Attract!

Mr. Fixer Upper by Lucy Score pulled me in immediately with its hot chemistry. I found the premise of the book to be just what I wanted. I strongly believe that opposites do attract, and the couple in this romance fit the mark. The added humor was a plus for me too. Natalie Duke was amazing bringing the characters to life with her distinguishable voices. I could envision so much. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I will most definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator.

This one was a bit of a slow starter for me, but WOW did it get hook me. The shower. The caretaking. And THE ENDING. This is my current favorite fictional proposal. Two thumbs up and a toolbelt salute to Gannon King, TV carpenter heartthrob.

Absolutely loved this feel good romcom. It was so easy to read and pacing was perfect. Just what I needed to read after a really heavy deep book. I loved the storyline of reality TV and the touch on woman’s pay and treatment in Television. It was tastefully brought to light. The spice 🤤 was so good.

Natalie Duke did an outstanding job bringing Gannon and Paige’s story to life! Lucy Score is a new author for me but I will be reading more of her. I love the banter between Gannon and Paige, the self assurance of Gannon. This book has all the feels!

I love this book so much I couldn’t put it down. Recommend this book if you have a thing for love stories.

Can’t get enough!!

So I started listening one book from this author and then it turned into two and this is my third. Now I’m lookong for more and there aren’t any on audible!! I’m panicking and praying more get released soon or I’ll have to go back to reading. I love that her heroines aren’t pushovers and the men are alpha!! My new favorite author. ❤️

Another winner!

I'm starting to realize that Lucy Score is a pretty consistent winner for me. I've learned that she usually writes a fairly easy to read/listen story that ends up also being fun. I think that you can usually depend on her for a consistent read and Ms. Score tends to not be as superficial as some in this genre - a little bit more of an actual story that most times can also reach deeper.

This was a fun story of a production assistant on a reality show and her relationship (both working and personal) with the two stars of the show (a pair of twin siblings). It is an enemies to lovers trope but doesn't follow the normal story arc that you would expect. I liked both of the MC's and it was fun watching them try to figure themselves out.

I listened to most of this on audio and really enjoyed the narration of Natalie Duke. If anything, there were a couple moments of frustration when the "conflict" portion of the story arose, but nothing that annoyed me or irritated me too much.

All in all it was a fun and easy read and it just solidified my feeling that I can count on always Ms. Score to deliver.

This book has it all

I love Lucy Score! She continues to contribute strong female empowerment stories with fully realized characters. Natalie Dike delivers a solid performance even though she could have benefited from a male counterpart (I am talking about you Sebastian York) Loved this story more than I expected. It is a do not miss.

I love every single thing about this book and the narration is amazing! I love Paige and Gannon and the full reality show scene! One of my favorite books ever! I’ve read it 3 times and now listened to it once!
