Publisher's summary

Can these opposites turn up the heat...without burning down the house?

House-flipping sensation and YouTube star Maggie Nichols can’t wait to dig into her next challenge. Arriving in tiny Kinship, Idaho, with only a cot and a coffeemaker, Maggie is prepared to restore a crumbling Victorian mansion in four months or less. She has her to-do lists, her blueprints, and her team. What she doesn’t have is time for sexy, laid-back landscaper Silas Wright.

The man takes flirtation to a whole new level. And he does it shirtless...sometimes pants-less. He and his service school-dropout dog are impressively persistent. But she’s not interested in putting down roots. Not when fans tune in to watch her travel the country turning dilapidated houses into dream homes. A short-term fling, on the other hand, could fit nicely into her calendar. After all, Maggie remembers what fun is like. Vaguely.

As their summer gets downright steamy, Silas manages to demolish the emotional walls she’s spent years building, sending Maggie into a panic. He’s the wrench in her carefully constructed plans. With the end of the project looming, she has a decision to make. But how can she stay when her entire career is built on moving on?

Perfect balance

This was way more than just a romantic comedy. It had the perfect balance of depth, comedy, heart, spice, and romance. This is the kind of book you immediately pass to a friend and tell them they have to read it!

Sucker for Small Towns and HGTV

A YouTube famous house-flipper comes to a small Idaho town to tackle her biggest project yet—and quickly falls hard for her hot contractor. A+ banter, a bit of a mystery, and fun side characters made this a really enjoyable low-steam romance. 😁

Loved This Book!

Maggie and Silas had the best banter of almost any romance book I’ve ever read. Their story had me from the first chapter and I didn’t want to finish it because I hated leaving all the characters I grew to love so much. Maggie flipped houses and Si is a landscaper. A match made in heaven for sure. And I have to say that what made this story so incredibly excellent was Emma Wilder’s narration. Though I’m not a huge fan of hers, she outdid herself on this one. Her male voices were spot on. No female, as far as I’m concerned, has ever done a better job of voicing a male character. This book is a keeper I will be reading again.

Really good! But a few probs I had listening.

This could’ve easily been a five stars! If only a better narrator and more drama(didn’t have to be too much but at least to hold my interest). Okay I have a few problems with the book, 1st off I was kind of bored in the middle of it, Felt like it dragged on too long, nothing really too interesting. However sticking through it Maggie and Silas‘s love was too good not to read this book over! Also Emma Wilders voice sounds like she’s constantly whining🙄 I don’t regret listening to this audiobook because it really was great but these are just some suggestions for a better experience.

Maggie and Silas

I love Maggie and Silas! I love how good of a good he was and he didn't do the whole I'm an ass thing from the get go. This book made me smile and had me tearing up a few times. It had all the feels and I so enjoyed it! Great book if you haven't read it you need to. All of the characters were great and I loved the family dynamic and how close they all were. There was a time where Silas told Maggie to shut up and I thought I would punch you in the face that would be a hard no go for me. I know we all have our moments of frustration but yeah no! I always want to know what happened after did they have kids and so on so that was a nice addition! Lucy has the books I like to relisten to and this will probably be another one.

Lucy Does It Again!

Another day, another Lucy Score book I am absolutely in love with! Maggie Moves On was everything I love about a Lucy Score book. Hilariously entertaining from beginning to end. Maggie and Silas’ chemistry was undeniable. Silas though!?! Oh my word, there is just something about the guy falling first that turns me into puddle of thirsty girl goo. I could not get enough of him. The way he did any and everything to show Maggie he’s interested and not just for a good time but a forever time; swoon, swoon, swoon. He was incredibly charming, thoughtful, romantic and honestly I was just a straight up goner for this man. He is for sure rivaling all her other heroes for top spot of favorites. Maggie was as stubborn as the days were long but this created such a delectable tension between her and Silas. Their banter was hysterical and gave me endless laughs. Emma Wilder, the way she was able to bring each individual character to life just wows me. She absolutely slayed this narration.
