Publisher's summary

Phoenix - Though our beginning was marred by tragedy and our number is small, I couldn’t be prouder to be the alpha of the Pine Ridge Pack of wolf shifters. We protect each other and our land, where we reside in homes built by our own hands. Our job gives us pride and purpose, and we get everything we need from the land and the nearby town. Everything except one. Every shifter has one true soulmate granted to them by Fate; one person they are to love, protect and cherish for all time. Once we find our destined match, we dedicate our lives to protecting them, providing for them and ensuring their happiness. When I find mine, I’m captivated by his intoxicating scent and struck by his incomparable beauty. But his circumstances are dire, and I pray I’m not too late.

Rory - After being kicked out of my house for being gay, I moved to the city with my best friend Dax in search of a fresh start and acceptance. He’s my family and supports me in everything I do. He’s all I have in life; well, besides my crappy, low-paying job, and my love of photography. That love pushed me to save every penny possible for months to purchase a new camera. I decide to take it into the forest to capture the beauty of nature, even though I have a terrible sense of direction. And a body that’s not built for hiking. And zero endurance. What could go wrong?

This M/M low angst, insta-love paranormal romance has no cliff-hangers or cheating and a very happy HEA. It contains a sexy wolf shifter, his devoted pack, and his lovable fated mate. Look out for lurking dangers, heartwarming moments, and steamy scenes!

I loved reading this!

I loved reading this series. low angst lots of love and amazing friendships. Jayda is so much fun to read and now to be able to hear her stories makes it even better. just maybe the narrator could cut back on wolf sounds just saying 🤣🤣🤣

Love this book!

This was my very first Jayda Marx book and I have read the series probably a dozen times at least. I am so happy to own it on audiobook as well. I love the insta-love and fluffiness between Rory and Phoenix. Sampson Simpson did a great job bringing the story to life. I liked that he added sound effects like the growls. However part of chapter 6 is missing so that was a bummer.

Narration ruined book for me

I love all of Jayda Marx's book, I have read this one over and over but the Narration just made it unbearable. I couldn't even finish listening. He may be good for other books but definitely not these stories. I wasted a credit on this one but lesson learned.

Good book meh narration

Soooo the book I enjoyed a lot, however the narrator was kinda meh. He reads very well and I enjoy his voices but he kinda overdoes it in certain areas. For example, when the book says someone whines and he inserts himself whining 🤦🏼‍♂️

Ended up as a DNF.

This series is another fave from Jayda Marx. I listened to the sample once it was released, but wasn’t completely thrilled and put off purchasing it. After listening to Once Bitten, I wanted to continue listening to another favorite series and finally pulled the trigger on Mine To Save. The narration is…really not great. It’s almost painful to listen to, tbh. It’s a bummer because I would have snatched the entire series up otherwise. The narrator almost seems to enunciate the wrong words and you can totally tell that all the pieces were recorded separately and pieced together because it wasn’t done well. There were quite a few areas where the wrong word was spliced in or repeated. Overall, just not a good experience. Two stars are for the storyline.
