Really good

Really good coverage of the gods of Summer. It is hard to piece together culture from mythology and pottery and some accounting, but so far it looks like between what was told by the Akkadians who absorbed and followed and the actual information gleaned from the clay tablets found, the assemblage of gods has been reconstructed with nice detail. Informative read.

A Good Overview

The way that we measure time, observe the stars, and even plant and grow crops has a lot to do with the advancements made by the Sumerians more than six thousand years age

Really good

This book explores the tales of gods and heroes in a concise, easy-to-read fashion. These tales of heroes and gods were deeply important to the Mesopotamian people and learning about them is the only way to understand the kind of world they lived in and how it was different from our own.

EXCELLENT

An EXCELLENT in-depth examination of the Sumerian culture. It’s amazing how much is known about this ancient civilization, and how many of the items and practices we use today were invented by the Sumerians. Their influence directly affected Mesopotamia even as they were conquered by others.

Well Informative

It is believed that the people of Sumer worshipped somewhere between one hundred and three hundred gods and goddesses. Amazing One!
