Publisher's summary

In this beautiful exposition of the unmerited kindness of King David toward the poor lame orphan Mephibosheth, we see a picture of the kindness of God, through Jesus Christ. The condition of fallen man, the wondrous grace of God in His kindness to poor lost sinners and the privileges of conferred sonship - "and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually" - are clearly brought out by this gifted expositor.

This book is part of the Brethren Writers Library series. These books go forth with the purpose of introducing the listener to the writings of men who were gifted of God as teachers 'for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ'.

Attention Getter!!! Sensational

This Audio Book of Mephibosheth was sensational for me because it was the first time I was introduced to this character and the Grace of God shown through David. Beautifully narrated and masterfully written.

Excellent Audio

I always enjoy listening to Charles Stanley's sermons and books. You can listen to him and really understand what he's talking about. First time I ever heard anything about this and was very good. I will listen to it again and get more out of it.

One of my favorite stories in the Bible

I love pretty much everything from Charles Stanley and this small book is no exception.
I would have enjoyed Dr. Stanley narrating the book though. The narrator's British accent and a tendency to distract me: he seemed to have more of a theatrical voice than that of one who narrates books. Some may find this pleasant. I found it tolerable in order to get the substance of the book by Dr Stanley.

When God whispers 'Mephibosheth,' listen carefully

Pastor Stanley provides specific insight and a fresh perspective in this study of Mephibosheth, the son of Johnathan, grandson of King Saul, and the forever friend of loyal King David. If and when Did whispers the name 'Mephibosheth' to you, make sure to check this one out.
