Short and Sweet

Perfect for the train. It’s a big picture look at co parenting, not a step by step how to fix your divorce. Some times you need to step back and take a look.

This is a great survival guide.

I listened to this book in order to give my friend advice on his divorce experience. Now he is looking to download it and use it as a guide. This us a great book for men going through it trying to survive after divorce. However, women can also benefit from some of the strategies and tips set out here as the author is very professional in the way people should deal with relationships. I like the way he discussed taking control of emotions, being diplomatic, focusing on the kids and using time effectively.
Highly recommended!

Great insight and guidance on difficult divorce

Going through a divorce is one of the most stressful life events for anybody, let alone when kids are involved, we are never prepared for this kind of challenge and I picked this Audiobook in the hope it could provide me with some kind of guidance, I’m glad I did, not only help me to ease the stress of not knowing how to handle the co-parenting aspect but also how to manage the relationship with the kids. Most importantly how to approach my relationship with my ex so that I can still be the best dad possible. In a simple, yet, insightful way the tips the author provides help me to overcome some of the challenges I was facing when talking with my ex and how to defuse the tension between us,
What I liked the most were the strategies, and activities provided in the audiobook, that involve the kids and my ex’s family. I found some of the tips easy to implement but others I’ll have to work on more. A great takeaway for me is that we all need to accept our new “status” and move on by being the “bigger person” and leading by example.
The narrator does an extraordinary job on this Audiobook, it kept me attentive and engaged. I loved it!. All in all, an excellent Audiobook that deserves a 5 star!

Loved it!

Divorce on its own is extremely difficult. Divorce with kids is a whole other story, and forces the focus to shift to the kids rather than the parents. Aguilar delivers a wonderful resource filled with valuable co-parenting tips that really allow the well-being of the kids to take center stage. Definitely would recommend this one.

I found it to be very useful.

Good book for men who are doing through divorce and also want to keep the kids with them and are not planning to leave their kids with their ex.

the author has given multiple tips on resolving the challenges that come after divorce for couple and the kids specially. For example, how to protect kids to have minimum effects after divorce of their parents and what type of relationship should men maintain with the ex as after all, their ex is the mother of his kids.

I seems following this audiobook properly will make the men and kids have a smoother transition after divorce.
