Action-packed adventure for Christian kids
This book has lots of adventure and also touches on lots of good teaching themes...honesty being one of the main points. The concept that we dim the light of Christ shining from us when we react dishonestly or in anger or irritation is depicted well. I think we often forget that the little things we do affect our witness.

I couldn't stop listening!
Brokken penned a story for mid-grade readers that caught the attention of this dad and would not let go! Set in a fictional world, not unlike our own, three children must survive the disappearance of their father, mother, and spiritual leader. In their place comes a new caretaker, one who seems to have a lot to hide. With gifts provided by their father, the children overcome trials to their faith and health. There are enough twists and turns in this book to keep any audience on the edge of their seat.
Stacey Bradshaw does this story justice with inflections for the different characters that will entertain and lift the story to your ears.

Great Christian story for kids
This is definitely a story for kids. My son enjoyed it, some of the words are higher level which got us talking about the meanings. It is definitely not pro big church, or subtle about who is evil.
