Publisher's summary

Some advice suits certain people more than others.

Some advice is...redundant waffle.

And Nat's What I Reckon refuses to let it slide! Ya see, Nat's got a loud mouth and a taste for taking the piss out of stuff—it's how he lives, laughs and loves.

Now, his target's the tired old life advice he's had enough of:

Man up. Good vibes only. No pain no gain. Carpe diem.

What a punish!

Nat has zero qualifications as a philosopher or life coach, and he doesn't feel like becoming one anytime soon. But as someone who has struggled to find the ray of positivity in most days of his life, he knows what it's like to feel the relief from a moment of joy.

So buckle up for Nat's unrequested take on pushing back against expectations and rolling through life with some laughs and kindness like a real, righteous ratbag!

Loved this!

I can’t say enough good things about this book. Nat’s a rock star and everything he talks about comes from a great place. I was sad when the book ended.

Hardest I’ve laughed in forever

If you’re a fan, there’s nothing I’m going to say that you don’t already know. If not, you’re in for a real treat. Why Nat isn’t a household name is a travesty in comedy, cooking and mental health. I was going to say “crazy” for the 3 C effect, but just assuming that’s not appropriate.

Necessary Listen

This is a great book and recommend taking the time to listen no matter what emotional state you are in. Great perspective on everyday things that seem positive but are ok to give it the middle finger. This will make you laugh, and love the no-BS realistic view. It's something I will listend to over and over.

🤙

This dude cracks me up. Plus i’ve always loved the aussie accent. Some of his points I didn’t agree with, but i was still entertained by them. Not a bad book, champion 🤌

Will definitely get whatever he comes out with next.

For once… something REAL

I’m an old American gal, and found this really refreshing.
Thanks for making me feel not alone and making me laugh.

Genuinely helpful and entertaining!

Thanks Nat for another great book. I really appreciate your honest and thoughtful engagement on the serious stuff of life. You’ve got the gift to keep us laughing at the same time and sharing your own story with warmth and vulnerability (without sap or cringe either). I’d recommend this book for anyone who either struggles with their own mental health or who is supporting someone else in their struggles. Well done Nat and keep up the good work.

No toxic positivity here

Nat has a way of cutting right through the BS. He has such an affable demeanor and through screen and books he feels like a treasured friend that cares.

This book is a fun listen if you’re a Nat fan and you like his brand of compassion mixed with taking the p*ss out of things.
