Publisher's summary

Attorney Seth Bader and his wife, Vicki, moved to New Hampshire in 1992. Three tumultuous years later, their marriage ended and left Vicki a broken woman, driven to the edge as Seth seduced their teenage son, Joey, into a violent plot to kill her in cold blood. What followed was one of the most bizarre and harrowing crime stories in New Hampshire history.

Better than expected

Based on some of the reviews I almost didn’t buy this book. Boy am I glad that I did!

I LOVED this story and the storytelling!

Such a weird tale of a strange and twisted man. I can hardly wait to listen again!! Great job Kevin and Rebecca!

I’m also a big fan of their Podcasts.

Fantastic local true crime!

Great narrator! Lots of details so it's one you need to listen to twice. Domestic verbal violence and one woman's fight to save herself from the madness of a sociopath who will do anything to feed his narcissism.

I sincerely hope that all three boys are in loving homes, and I really hope that monster rots in jail!!

Please read more books, Aven Shore!

I read all three of the books written by Kevin Flynn and Rebecca lavoie and found them all to be so well written and composed and researched. What I truly enjoyed however is the reader and her juicy voice! Hope she reads more books!! I’m addicted!

Everyone is good at something…

In this case, the author is very good at writing poorly. The writers, however are practiced and published. Too many inconsequential characters to keep track of, too many repeats of info already presented and it sounds as if the author is being paid by the word. Way too much "filler."
I didn't care at all for the narrator. In my opinion and for me to listen I need to have more and or different inflection in the spoken word to be able to tell the characters apart. This narrator didn't do that. I was often confused about which character was speaking (and often because there were so many different characters) that I kept having to backtrack to find out which character was on the dance floor.
Perhaps if the narrator was just a little more seasoned I would have paid more attention and not lost interest so quickly.
