I am so excited about this book! I’m trying to learn Italian as a way to connect with my heritage. This book covers a wide array of topics and variety of words/phrases. It is simply to listening and makes studying easy :)

I'm beginning a study of the Italian language

I'm beginning a study of the Italian language and was interested to come across this book of vocabulary words. It's well organized and thoughtfully includes many words, used in context, which will be helpful for a planned trip to Italy. I consider it an additional resource to the language study program I'm involved in, but I also imagine it to be useful as a review before and during my trip.

I liked it but wished it had been longer

I liked it but wished it had been longer and more words to learn as I am learning to speak the Italian language. However I liked to have the English to Italian with the Italian to English very helpful

Good reference for common vocab and in context us

I received this book in advance and am very pleased with the content. As I've begun to progress from the beginner to low intermediate level, I've struggled to increase my vocabulary in a systematic way to match the increase in my grammatical repertoire. I'm hoping to use the vocab lists and helpful sentence examples to improve my vocabulary and aid my active speaking. It 'sit' really helpful to learn idioms, but would be interesting to understand the literal translation in addition to the idiomatic equivalent in English.
