It was interesting and informative, although not as funny as I was expecting. It really gave a clear picture about where George Carlin came from and what his life was all about, mostly in his own words.

Carlin was one of the most gifted comedians ever him and Richard Pryor we're probably the only two that could get away with using the word c********* repeatedly in a sentence in a nice way. George Carlin is one of my two heroes. The otter being Howard Stern. They both molded me from a young age to speak my mind and stand against the ones who I disagreed with. It’s taken me a while to be able to listen to this. And Patrick, who sounds just like his brother, brought me face to face, so to speak, with my hero, George Carlin. To hear him to his story, to bring the listener into his world. It’s a beautiful book read by one of the men who knew him best. And just happens to sound so much like him, you forget it’s not George.
