Great Book
Kitty Valentine Dates a Billionaire (Kitty Valentine #1) was a great read by Jillian Dodd. Kitty Valentine has been a successful author for the past six years. Unfortunately her latest novel has totally bombed. Her editor has suggested that she write much sexier books. Kitty has no choice but to make sexier books because she has little to no money coming in. Kitty decides to get a bit more adventurous and write about the new experiences she has. I really enjoyed reading Kitty’s story and can’t wait to read more in this series.

Super Cute
Right off the bat, it's apparent that this series is going to be interesting and entertaining. Kitty is a fun character. She's quirky and clumsy and too in her head, but that's what makes her adventure one worth following. I liked Blake when he wasn't being defensive or grouchy. And the inclusion of the neighbor character helps round out Kitty's world - no doubt he's going to have a book of his own at some point. 4.25 stars.
The narrator did a great job bringing the characters to life.

So fun!
I am so excited about this new series from one of my favorite authors- the premise is so fun! Kitty Valentine Dates a Billionaire is the first offering in the series and I absolutely adored Kitty's personality- she's quirky and awkward and it's so fun to follow her as she attempts to expand her romance writing repertoire. I loved seeing her budding friendship with neighbor Matt and getting to know her best friend Hayley too. It was so interesting to get a peek into the world of a writer- meetings with her agent and editor and getting to read Kitty's new book as she writes it. Lisa Cordileone was a fantastic narrator and she voiced Kitty just as I imagined her. I cannot wait to listen to Kitty's next adventure!
