Publisher's summary

In the 11th audiobook in the multimillion-selling Killing series, Bill O’Reilly and Martin Dugard reveal the startling, dramatic story of the global war against terrorists.

In Killing the Killers, number one best-selling authors Bill O'Reilly and Martin Dugard take listeners deep inside the global war on terror, which began 20 years ago on September 11, 2001.

As the World Trade Center buildings collapsed, the Pentagon burned, and a small group of passengers fought desperately to stop a third plane from completing its deadly flight plan, America went on war footing. Killing the Killers narrates America's intense global war against extremists who planned and executed not only the 9/11 attacks but hundreds of others in America and around the world, and who eventually destroyed entire nations in their relentless quest for power.

Killing the Killers moves from Afghanistan to Iraq, Iran to Yemen, Syria, and Libya, and elsewhere, as the United States fought Al Qaeda, ISIS, and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, as well as individually targeting the most notorious leaders of these groups. With fresh detail and deeply sourced information, O'Reilly and Dugard create an unstoppable account of the most important war of our era.

Killing the Killers is the most thrilling and suspenseful book in the number one best-selling series of popular history books (over 18 million sold) in the world.

Very disturbing

Hard to understand how so much hate, death all in the name of religion can happen.

Well done! Enthusiastically recommended!

O'Reilly and Dugard did a great job with this book. There is an appropriate amount of detail, and it is well balanced. Their perspective on the efficiency of the Obama, Trump and Biden Administration's execution of the war against terror was very interesting. Throughout the book the reader is frequently reminded of the bravery and operational brilliance of the special operators who execute the war on terror.

One of the best by the authors

love the series by the authors. This one is the most riveting, as this is the most contemporary for our times. Much appreciation for those that "have gone down range" to exterminate the terrorist vermin.

Killing the Killers

O'Reilly and Dugard are unmatched in their research and skill in putting a story together that grabs your attention from start to finish. My body is still reacting to the vast number of terrorist incidents listed at the end. A truly dark reality largely unnoticed - until listed as a whole. Thanks for honoring our fallen heroes. A great but disturbing look at our broken world.

Not for the faint of heart but…

One of the best and most important audiobooks I’ve ever listened to. A real page turner yet 100% factual. No fluff, just well researched facts told in a riveting story. Highly recommend!

I have read all of O’Reilly’s Killing books and have no compunctions. Keep it pithy.

Excellent, like the entire series

These authors always manage to dig up all of the facts and present them in an entertaining, suspenseful and accurate manner. Though the performance was wonderful, I am disappointed that the reader’s bias against Trump is indicated in his reading of the president’s quotes. I still wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone interested in this topic.
