Zero dollars, two minutes

If you are wondering how synchronized images work, this would be the best way to find out. It costs nothing and takes very little time. I thought the story was cute, the pictures okay and I will get more with images and try some more Potter.

Story is predictable and is for very young children.

Very Beatrix Potter

Cute little story and very typical! I forgot how short some of her stories are! It is age appropriate for young children, as all the B.P. stories are. Narrator also evokes a B.P. style very well.

What the prior reviewer may not have realized is that in England, then and now, the term "Pussie/ Pussy" is what cats are called, along with "Puss" and not at all a derogatory term. This term also used in Mother Goose nursery rhymes. If a possible problem, perhaps an explanation of this as the proper use of the term as used would be in order. However, it would seem more appropriate not to make anything of it at all...

More details audible

The story when it started didn't inform me that it would be playing images on the screen I only notice when I was checking the time and saw the pics on the screen I think you should have had that detail in the summary are said when the story begins playing.

I felt that this abridged was swoothing for a toddler but not intresting in development for children 4+ that need more structure in development and underline morals to learn that this story version doesn't offer.

Then finally you used the same voices for both the cat and mouse are the same just poor effort on the narrators part.

Short snippet

This price is right on this little snippet of a story. The art work and pictures are classics. Be sure to listen on a device that has a video screen.

This story reminds me of the books and clothed animal stories my grandmother always had in her home.

Short and sweet.

nicely done, but better as a regular book

cute, but this is a picture book for children. it's difficult to get the full effect when it's converted to an audiobook.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Story of Miss Moppet to be better than the print version?

Because I loved the illustrations so completely, I would prefer the print edition under most circumstances.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It was a very short tale, only 2 minutes long.
I listened to it more than once each time.

of course!

Any additional comments?

A fan of all of Beatrix Potters stories, I was excited to download this one - bringing me back to my childhood bedtime moments. The narrator did a fine job matching the childlike persona's of the characters. Definitely a lovely listen.
