Publisher's summary

After a summer spent trying to prevent a catastrophic war among the Greek gods, Percy Jackson finds his seventh-grade school year unnervingly quiet. His biggest problem is dealing with his new friend, Tyson, a six-foot-three, mentally challenged homeless kid who follows Percy everywhere, making it hard for Percy to have any "normal" friends.

Critic reviews

"Adventure follows chaotic adventure at a rapid pace, and readers with even a passing acquaintance with the Odyssey will enjoy this fresh use of familiar stories." (School Library Journal)

Great story and very well done

Loved it! Used both of the first two audio books on a road trip! Kept my 10 yr old well entertained on a 6000 mile trip. Even held the attention of our 4 and 5 year olds. Would definitely recommend to others!

Short, bad narration, but still a good story

The books shorter than the first narratiator makes everyone sound bored or annoyed at everything but if you can get past that it's a good book and can't wait to read the next one.

Amazing!

We love the Percy Jackson series, it's impossible to know what happens next! It makes ancient Greek mythology sound so real.
