Publisher's summary

All year the half-bloods have been preparing for battle against the Titans, knowing the odds of victory are grim. Kronos's army is stronger than ever, and with every god and half-blood he recruits, the evil Titan's power only grows.

While the Olympians struggle to contain the rampaging monster Typhon, Kronos begins his advance on New York City, where Mount Olympus stands virtually unguarded. Now it's up to Percy Jackson and an army of young demigods to stop the Lord of Time.

In this momentous final book in the New York Times best-selling Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, the long-awaited prophecy surrounding Percy's 16th birthday unfolds. And as the battle for Western civilization rages on the streets of Manhattan, Percy faces a terrifying suspicion that he may be fighting against his own fate.

A Perfect Ending

Few series leave such a flattering bookend of the shelf of their legacy. Cheers Percy.

Enjoyed as always

I always enjoy listening to the audiobooks. I did notice this time around that some character voices had been changed and I don't understand why. The author made the character to be Asian or Hispanic then why change the voice? That takes away from the character. Now the character has an American drawal that doesn't work. juat seems out of place. One of the many great things about Rick's books his diverse characters.

Love the Book, Not the Reader

I love this series, but by god I cannot stand the guy reading this. Did he not get any kind of direction for his character voices??

Awesome Series

With the excellent performances by Jesse Bernstein, my grandson could not wait for each book until he finished the series. It was well written and very entertaining. I’m sure he will listen to them again, very soon. Thank you for this awesome production!

A Great Story that Surpasses the Narration

This is a fun mid-point to the overall Percy Jackson saga. It’s also the last of the Percy-dominated books, so it holds a special place in the overall Riordan-verse. It’s got a fun story, fine characters, adventure, and sense of adventure and rises above the sub-standard narration.

Finally, it’s a fun book and doesn’t suffer from Rick Riordan’s current need to be overly politically correct at the expense of the narrative.

Great book!

I loved the story and the narrator. His performance is excellent!
Although, I would have liked a more juvenile Hermes and a different tone with Persefone because of their personalities in Greek Mythology.
