We downloaded this for a Thanksgiving week 1600 mile road trip with a four and two year old. I thought they wouldn't enjoy the stories without the pictures in front of them, but they couldn't get enough. Definitely helped to fill the time, and entertained the adults enough, too.
No, it's not a substitute for the books with pictures, but definitely worth it for travel. Also a good value for the number of books on this program.

Dr. Seuss
If you are a Dr Seuss fan, then this book is your number one go-to. If not, DONT BUY THIS BOOK! I am a HUGE Dr. Seuss fan, so I am a huge fan of this collection, but out of all my kids only three of them listen to this. Good for ages 3-6. I hope you found this helpful!

A reminiscence of childhood

Celebrity Seuss? I Do Like Them, Sam-I-Am
I bought this to listen to with my friend's son who I babysit during the week. Mostly I just wanted to give him the benefit of being read to without having to read the same books, I've already read to my three children and innumerable amount of times. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! The actors really did a great job with each of these stories. Plus, they picked a few of the lesser covered Dr. Seuss stories, a couple that were even new to me! I enjoyed listening just as much as the 18 mo old!

It’s Nice To Have Stories From Childhood!
I used to have this on cassette that my Mom gave me when I was in elementary school, and I am glad that they remastered this Dr. Seuss Album on Digital Media!

Cat in the Hat Rocks
What made the experience of listening to The Cat in the Hat and Other Dr. Seuss Favorites the most enjoyable?
My boys (aged 2 and 5) love this book. The characterizations that the different actors give make them want to listen to it over and over. They love listening to it while they are playing, laying down, and in the car. They've got some of it memorized because of the actors. They love it.

The boys loved everything.

The different voices, the rhymning, pretty much everything.

My 3 year-old loves it!
Would you consider the audio edition of The Cat in the Hat and Other Dr. Seuss Favorites to be better than the print version?
Depending on the situation, yes. We enjoy playing it in the car for long car rides and also for my son to fall asleep to some nights when he is too energetic to fall asleep after reading books.

Great to keep a young toddler entertained in ways other than popular radio stations in the car or falling asleep to the television.

great for all ages
these stories are so fun to listen to for all ages. the kids love hearing them and I love listening to this rather than the frozen soundtrack
