    "excellent!"

This story was funny and funnier!! The realistic and dramatic voice was wonderful as well. I'm fascinated with THE SISTERS GRIMM. I have read 5 books of the series so far. Not one book of them let me down! Especially #4 is my favorite.

"One of my son's favorite series!"

My then 12 year old just adored this series. He devoured it and would stay up late at night listening. I would highly recommend this series for anyone in his age range. Especially if the child likes updated versions of fairy tales.

"Wonderful start to a very engaging series"

My daughter LOVED this series and this book in particular. This is a great light listen, and extremely appropriate for children under 10, especially girls. I thought this book was extremely well written and the story was very enjoyable. My daughter would give it 5 stars across the board, I gave it 4 because I like to save the 5 stars for books that I (that is ME) can't put down. If I could I would probably give this book 4.5 stars...the only thing that keeps this from 5 stars is because it is very much so a children's book and thus was just a bit predictable for an adult. That said, the main characters of this book are strong, relatable female characters that I liked my daughter to listen to. I felt that they showed her how young girls could be strong and demonstrated how sisters should look out for each other. I highly recommend this novel for people with young girls and who want to listen to something together. I also recommend it to anybody with children (of any sort), or for adults who enjoy books with the light atmosphere of "young adult/children" stories like atmosphere of the early books of Harry Potter or the Septimus Heap books. Now that I have said that I should clarify that this book only compares to HP and SP in the style/tone of the story...the plot and everything else are NOTHING like HP and SP. I would describe the The Sisters Grimm as a "fairy tale/fantasy realism/mystery/detective children???s novel. NOT "swords and magic fantasy". But the at

    "ARGH!"

I love these books but each book ends with a cliff-hanger! So far the events make us laugh and we have been having a great time. The silly comments from the girls like Freakazoid, Punk Rock and more. Just plain fun!

"Great story, great reader, some noise"

We really enjoyed the book and the reader was very good; however, there were some background noises, such as clanking, that kept popping up.

We can't wait to hear book 5!

    "My Favorite New Series"
What did you love best about Sisters Grimm: Once Upon a Crime?

These books are so much fun. Funny, warm and exciting to read

Who was your favorite character and why?

Grandma is my favorite. She's so warm to the girls and goes with what she feels not worrying about what others think. And that accent makes me smile

"Michael Buckley gets better with each book."
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I listened to this book because it's a favorite of my grandson. I love encouraging reading in this 10 yr. old boy and plus it's a fun audio read.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

The main characters are girls, therefore it would have been nice to have a female reader.

    Which scene was your favorite?

Any scene with Puck and Mr. Canis.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I was so glad that Sabrina finally embraced her heritage. I got very tired of her anger and combative attitude.
