The secret history behind the New York Times best-selling Ranger's Apprentice novels.
Unconfirmed accounts of a group of Araluen warriors - tales of adventure, battle, and triumph over evil - have spread for centuries throughout the known world. Most notable is a clan shrouded in mystery, phantom warriors known as the Rangers.
Two names pass the lips of every storyteller: Halt, and his apprentice, Will. They and their comrades in arms are said to have traveled throughout the kingdom and beyond its borders, protecting those who needed it most. If true, these rumors can be only part of the story.
Only now, centuries after these men and women walked the earth, do we have confirmation of their existence. Behold: The Lost Stories.

John Flanagan has brought this story line to a close by chapters explaining the loose ends from the series - Ranger's Apprentice. It isn't enough since they are still sorely missed in my life but now I know what happened to them.
John Flanagan is a wonderful storyteller. The Ranger's Apprentice series are books for all ages. Get ready to watch the sun come with the audio books. Well done!
John Keating makes these audio books shine.
The stories contained in the "book" were interesting, but poorly developed as with an anthology of books. My disappointment has to do with expecting another novel instead of a group of short stories. I recognize that it says "Lost Stories" however Audible has it listed as Book #11. With the MANY other books and series I have listened to (and Read) the next numbered book is another novel at least in the same world with same characters if not the continuation of the story line. I overall enjoyed the short stories, however wish that this was not labeled as book #11.
I love this book but the author made one to many slips (by which I mean five to ten) like Blaze, Gilan's Horse changes genders. Am I the only one noticing this? I loved the book I just which that the details were more in keeping with the other books.
John Keating is the best narrator! Thankfully he narrated most of the books. Once I start listening to them it is hard to stop (I am a man in my mid 40's). ☺ Thanks to the author as well!
John Flanagan is an amazing author and I hope that one day I can write as well as him
I liked the answers to all the many questions you get from reading a book series, however I still want more so some of the stories left me wanting....but overall well done, awesome narrator.
