These heartfelt stories are wonderful to listen to anytime. The soothing nature of the narrator's voice is very calming for my children and was an unexpected benefit! Great purchase!
Heartwarming, sweet and a feat story! I enjoyed listening to it. It's a great audio book because it's heartwarming, funny, and sweet, and has every element it needs
Being a delivery person I sometimes get a bit lonely on the road for hours by myself. I loved having this beautifully read collection of stories for company today and can't wait for my children to hear them as well.
I run/knit/swim/climb/watch Bollywood when not driven to the brink of insanity by homeschooled children who think and talk far too much.
It is Good rainy day book. It has a Nice slow pace and voice. It's understandable and smooth. I like it.
Actually, yes. As an American, I can't imagine the Yorkshire accents just from the printed word. Jim Dale's reading is quite excellent, though his James Herriot doesn't sound as Scottish as often described in the books.
That would be a spoiler.
Timing, accent, voices.
