Nice and Funny.

Where does I Am a Pole (And So Can You!) rank among all the audiobooks you???ve listened to so far?

This was a quick fun listen. The price seemed right, as I had heard it already on The Colbert Report TV show.

What three words best describe Tom Hanks and Stephen Colbert (introduction) ???s voice?

The voices were great. I didn't really enjoy the banter between Tom Hanks and Stephen Colbert that much.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I felt a giggle rise.

Very cute

Tom Hanks is wonderful. The PDF is a nice inclusion for an audiobook. The story is VERY short...really just six minutes. But it's sweet and the profits are for charity.

Good and bad from 2 wonderful performers

I love Stephen Colbert and Tom Hanks. Put them together and you have an outstanding team. I enjoyed the simple story / poem, the camaraderie between the two performers and overall it is entertaining. The poem itself is quite simple, short and nice. It made me smile. However, Stephen reads every printed word in the book, including all the information on the copyright page and after the poem, he proceeds to read the audiobook credits in their entirety. While humorous on the outset, it becomes quite tedious and ultimately these parts were not entertaining. While I am sure I will listen to it again, especially around National Holidays, I will be fast forwarding through that first minute and a half and ending it when the audiobook credits begin - which is a pain. That is why I only give it 3 stars. Just to be clear, though, I'm still glad I bought it.

Short, but sweet

Cute story, very brief...more time spent on daily long credits than on actual story :P

Short and sweet

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Not expensive and good to listen while in the car with kids. On road trips I find it difficult to find books both my 11 and 7 year old like. They both enjoyed this one!

Great little story

Colbert is his usual witty self, though Tom Hanks did well keeping up. And the profits go to charity. Two thumbs way up.

short, fun, and just nice

for only being 8 minutes, this was totally worth my time. Really funny, had both Tom Hanks and Stephen Colbert, and ended in a nice patriotic way. good stuff.
