"A sweet family life...serves as the foundation for the story, which charts a tough week for Clementine, involving badly cut (and marker-dyed) hair, trouble with the principal, and a spat with a best friend." (Child magazine)
"Fans of Judy Moody will welcome this portrait of another funny, independent third-grader." (Publishers Weekly)
This was one of the best children's books I've read in a long time. My daughters (ages 5 and 7) love the creative heroine. And this mom loved the creativity of the author! Can't wait for more.
I'm a mom. I have drama in my life. I don't want books with the F-bomb, nor graphic violence. I read for fun and to bring my family together. I read for reducing stress levels. We have never had a television in our home and our children are now mid twenties to 19. We listen together and look for belly-wrenching laughter. So what is it like to live without a TV? Awesomely educational and inspirational. Each new book is a marvel.
Spunky, ingenious, lovable.
The narration makes Clementine pop out of the audio book and become part of the family. Clementine is so cute! It reminds me of myself and my children. A joyful listen, full of giggles
Ok, fine. (You'll understand when you listen)
Yes! I cleaned house, made dinner, knitted and giggled the whole while. So did my family. Very cute.
