Now Claudia knows how Jessi felt at times.

Great narration and story. Poor Claudia, she never looked at things like that before, until now. Not all whites are racists, however, something she can be grateful for. Almost cried when Jessi was turned away with the door slammed in her face.

a review coming from a disabled 24 year old

AWESOME!! I loved the Babysitter's club when I was in elementary school and when the Netflix show dropped, I was flooded with all these memories. there's a mini documentary on Netflix as well about Claudia and her impact in regards to asian representation and this particular book was mentioned, so of course I had to dive into this. it was all I could have asked for and more.

5/5 Kid Kits, will listen again and again!!!!

Racism and prejudice are discussed in the book.

Please listen to this book it's important. The narrators do a great job of dealing with prejudice in the book.
