For fans of Cheryl Strayed and Anne Lamott, a collection of quotes and essays on facing life’s challenges with creativity, courage, and resilience.

When Maggie Smith, the award-winning author of the viral poem "Good Bones", started writing inspirational daily Twitter posts in the wake of her divorce, they unexpectedly caught fire. In this deeply moving book of quotes and essays, Maggie writes about new beginnings as opportunities for transformation. Like kintsugi, the Japanese art of mending broken ceramics with gold, Keep Moving celebrates the beauty and strength on the other side of loss. This is a book for anyone who has gone through a difficult time and is wondering: What comes next?

Just what I needed

This book was in my library for sometime. Recently experiencing loss and looking for hope I started listening. It brought me to a conclusion that might have not been visible if I hadn’t of had these warm, affirming and thoughtful analogies in life and love. Wonderfully read by Maggie I’m filling in my future, my way. Thank you.

I Never Write Reviews

I never write reviews because I’m rarely moved to do so. It’s not often I listen to a book in this genre that has a real effect on me. This little book is exquisite. The simplicity and prodding rhythm of the language made sure I received every word, as if it were a blessing. It IS a blessing. Thank you Maggie for the instruction and permission to see the light.

I return to the wisdom in this book again and again

I’ve either read or listened to Keep Moving no less than 20 times. I keep a copy handy, and it is my go to audible book when I need to reminded of my own inherent strength and goodness. Listening to Maggie’s voice adds another layer of heart and fortitude. So good. So so good.

A different view on personal growth.

I enjoyed the book. It allowed me to examine how those three issues caused me to think on them differently and consider rethinking how I could handle them now with this new information.

I want more!

I loved listening to this when I was in quite a dark place. I wanted more. It’s simple advice that makes you feel better. Wish there was a little more storytelling because I wanted to know more about her life.
