Delightful
Helen Taylor narrated this wonderfully written story about two intellectual, brilliant people who were misunderstood by everyone, even themselves at times. Could not stop listening from start to finish. It was so interesting to follow as they learned to communicate on an intellectual level , not the typical, even predictable emotional and lustful storyline, and were drawn to each other. It kept my interest throughout. I felt like a fly on the wall and was just delighted with the two main characters. Very refreshing and delightful storyline. Another great book written by Alicia Cameron. I follow her stories, always waiting for the next to be published. Thank you, Alicia. Your fans appreciate you.

Unusual interesting Regency
I really liked this different Regency. It is a traditional Regency, not a bodice ripper. Even slower — less obvious — romance than most sweet Regencies, but I enjoyed it. The lead characters are odd, but interesting and a nice group of amusing secondaries. I like the reader

There are a lot of Regency romances with bluestocking heroines, but this one is unique! Covington doesn't want to be bothered by anyone; he just wants to study & research his interests. Katerina is fascinated because that's exactly what she wants for herself, too, just to be left alone to read and learn more about all the fascinating things in the world. But how to get in on such a deal?
It's a different kind of love story, successfully constructed out of little more than a shared love of books & logical analysis - unusual but brilliant! (in both the British & American senses)
Covington's conspiring servants are most entertaining.
When the two finally kissed, whew (fanning self) ... so simple, yet so intense
