Publisher's summary

About the audiobook: David Fitzgerald’s award-winning 2010 book Nailed: Ten Christian Myths That Show Jesus Never Existed at All pointed out the top 10 fatal flaws of Christianity’s origin story. Now, Jesus: Mything in Action presents the most compelling new findings in Jesus myth theory and critically examines its controversial reception by biblical scholars, the extent and reliability of our sources for Jesus, and the surprising history behind Jesus’ evolution.

In this volume: Mything in Action, Vol. III (chapters 19-25) presents a bold thought experiment: “The Gospel According to H.G. Wells”, a multi-chapter time-travel expedition through the origins and evolution of Christianity.

Best series of books on history of first century

If i found this book series and nailed when i was searching for truth, real truth, not bible fairy tales, then i would have saved an enormous amount of research. these books have everything i was looking for with a conspiracy theorists spin like the Zeitgeist movement. well written, good research and easy for the layman to understand.

Christianity in historical context?

A fictional narrative, based on evidence and inference, that may reveal the true origins of Christianity, and the faith as it was originally known and practiced

Bravo David F and David S

Another great book. This one more unlike his previous 2 in the series. Definitely dipped into his fictional writing style here. Good job and I couldn't recommend it more.

Thank you so much for all you do David Fitzgerald. I love you man.

An interesting discussion on the subject

Fitzgerald presents an interesting surface view of the evidence. It’s an interesting case he presents and is worth further review and discussion. He isn’t a full scholar on the subject but is someone interested in the subject and does a good job discussing it from that point of view. I recommend Richard Carrier if you enjoy this series.

Meanings of the true Gospel

Great historic review of Christianity, although obviously meant as a polemic against faith in Christ, this book uncovers the true spiritual initial meaning that is much more important than the simple meaning in historisity.

Stunning

So well researched and thoroughly entertaining this is a must-read, very thought provoking. A wonderful explanation of Paul’s influence over this fantasy religion.
