Along with their good friend, Annie, they head to Wyoming to buy a ranch. E.J.'s good friend Steve was invited to go along with them, but decided against it. They buy a ranch and love it. They are very happy as this is the first home for all of them. E.J. now goes by the name Ed Brady, not wanting the reputation he had following them. All though very happy, problems happen. E.J. needing to raise money decides to go back to his gambling to raise the money he needs. Though Shannon didn't like the idea, she had none better. She hated leaving her home but off to Denver they go so E.J. can get into a high stakes game. E.J. gets in the game. But then tragedy strikes. Decisions must be made and vengeance must be taken. The story definitely answers the question "For Love or Money" and it shows that the answer is "It Was For Love."
