It Had To Be You: Hidden Cover Series, #5
What made the experience of listening to It Had to Be You the most enjoyable?
Just hearing the story made it so real for me. I could visualize very easily the firehouse, the fires, etc in the story.
What other book might you compare It Had to Be You to and why?
All the books in this series are similar but have very different story lines. The lives of the firefighters are the focus and these stories just bring them to life. I've never thought about what these men and women do so vividly as I do now after reading this series.
Which character – as performed by Jeffrey Kafer – was your favorite?
I loved Beckett. He was so strong, caring, broken but determined to do the right thing no matter what.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
He was broken, she was hurt, could they fix each other!

It Had To Be You is my favorite in this entire series. I loved Beckett! By hearing this story read out loud it seemed I could almost feel the pain Beckett and Lela felt because he wanted her and she just couldn't deal with another man with PSTD but love won out! I don't think our military or firefighter or cops get the support and praise that they so deserve for their service!

Love these firefighter audios
An emotional listen but a good one. Love this firefighter series. Narration is excellent!
Live Kafers voice in these books.
This series feels the most realistic firefighter books I’ve read. Thats what I live about these! Author is not afraid to tackle tough subjects either. Follows the firehouse, their love interests, and their families.
