Change Speed to 1.10
As soon as I started listening to this I pumped up the speed to 1.10x
Sounds really good, not speeded up.
I see al ot of complaints about the narration. At 10% faster solves that problem.
I'm at chapter 31 and the book is continuing to be inventive and interesting.

nice book
what a solid book here. its long but the plot moves at a steady pace. any place where i thought "man this is gonna drag" the story picked up and accelerated. good characters. interesting powers. worth the credit

Enjoyable but not the best
Very interesting story, and concept. Character levels seem very inconsistent between the different mages.
It was nice to have a male and female narrators for the story and they did a pretty good job however you can hear background noise, sirens , the pages turning etc.

Wow, truly epic 36 hours!
This is a monster of an audiobook. 1 credit for 36 hours is a heck of a value. This book had its hooks in me from the first minute until the end. The characters and world building are top notch and the action is fun. The narration is spectacular. did i mention that it has 4 narrators? truly exceptional audiobook. bring on book 2. good job Mr Yang..

MC is wimpy to start out
