Publisher's summary

How do you stop an invasion force that just defeated the most powerful person on the planet? Chances are, you don’t.

But the world’s greatest heroes and villains are going to team up and make their best attempt.

After the Tuldarians—a race of dinosaur-like aliens—invade the Earth with overwhelming numbers of ships and soldiers, the world’s governments finally repeal the Anti-Vigilante Acts. Now, the masked crimefighters and criminals who haven’t been allowed to use their powers are being asked to fight to save humanity. And to think, I was just put in prison for just trying to be a good guy.

However, with the recent knowledge that the Tuldarians have developed a way of stripping us from superpowers, that could prove more difficult than it seems—in fact, it could be a suicide mission.

My name is Sawyer William Vincent (I know, it's three first names. Think I haven't heard that before?) Once known as Red Raptor, I'm now Black Harrier, one of the world's most famous masked crime-fighters. And I’m trying to help stop the end of the world.

Invasion is the third book in the new Harrier series from Audible number one best-selling author Jaime Castle and CJ Valin, the creators of Raptors.

Pretty good! 👍👍

Good series. However, Alex and Amy are sociopaths. I wish Sawyer would have wound up with you-know-who. Also, Baron Steel had a posh British accent sometimes and a Scottish accent the other. VO actors should’ve been given notes for continuity.

Awesome series!

I’ve listened to the whole series so far and can’t wait for the next one! The characters are likable and fun. The storyline is funny, and easy to follow from one book to the next. Being on the next one!

Blockbuster Story / Bittersweet Endings

Action-packed. Heartfelt. For the fans.

These are the best ways I can describe Invasion without spoiling things. Sean Meyers/Crosscircuit once more steals much of the show (and boy did his voice actor nail it!). Also, I did not expect to find myself loving Battlegear’s tale half as well as I did. That’s a tribute to Jaime’s and Chris’s fine storytelling skills. And of course, the saga’s star, Sawyer, gets a worthy arc.

I write all this with songs about “Goodbye” playing in my headphones because I know that it will be a long while before the series continues, if ever. So before I choke up, I want to say thank you, so much, to the authors for crafting a universe with characters and stories that I have loved, from the warts to the many shining diamonds.

You really should do it again sometime.

Too much DC

I quite enjoyed the overall story, my only pet peeve is that many of the main characters themes in backstories too closely resemble those of DC characters, besides that the execution of these characters and this story, might be truly perfect.

60’s and 70’s Superhero Corny

If you liked the corny acting of Superman and Batman and Robin series shows of the 60’s and 70’s then you will like this series of stories.

Super! … and sympathetic-Cringe-y

Wow, this series did a lot of things absolutely Super!!!

I almost feel guilty not giving 5-star across the board. Sympathetic-Cringe is far from being one of my favorite art forms, though… This series made me appreciate Sympathetic-Cringe a LOT more than I did previously, but I kept feeling…

Feeling like I want more read from the perspectives of Amy, Frank, and others… Feeling like I want to see the characters grow and develop… oh, and more of Amy’s Dad…

Gotta say: Sympathetic-Cringe is still far from my personal favorite, but the potential for adventure and the ache to see if any of these characters become wiser… and maybe become mentors in a future expansion set of books??? Yeah, I want more

Fun and engaging

I found the whole series fun charming and enjoyable. Great personalities and struggles. The entertainment factor is good even if it is not earth shattering literature.

spoiler alert... again I said SPOILER

I think I enjoy comics and super hero stories for the villains just as much as the heros. I feel like this second part of the series gave me that.

With that said... who else wants to start a petition to bring back Battlegear to lead a spin-off series like the Suicide Squad. It could be like reverse uno card to when the fans killed off Jason Todd. What's a little blue fire in super hero world? lol

All in all, I am ready for more.

This series is what keeps me paying for my subscription

I first downloaded audible so I wouldn’t have to sit down and read my books for school because I had two jobs at the time and had no time. Anyway, I found this series while scrolling through suggestions and I have been a fan ever since. The voice acting in amazing, the stories are intriguing, although at times annoying when the wrong character is the chapter’s narrator (if the voice actor for Battlegear was meant to be obnoxious and annoying, the actor did his job. No offense, Mr. Eric, sir) but over all, I love the series and I continue to check to see when the next one will release.
