Not for interview preparation

This is a great inner dialogue of what I feel like before and after an interview. It is not helpful, though, in preparation for an interview.

Well, that's thoroughly unpleasant

Guess it's good this was free, back when Audible was giving people their choice of Originals. :/ It was just an unpleasant experience. Oh, the reader is fine. Lots of emotion, very understandable, great delivery, overall. But the story itself is rushed, leaving a lot unexplained. Is the voice in the narrator's head just anxiety? Schizophrenia? Possession? Who knows, and the author doesn't seem to care.

Unless you want to hear someone panic over an interview for 27 minutes, only to have no resolution over how good or bad the interview actually was, skip this.

Well performed terrible book

This was well performed and well written. but a terrible book. just put me in a bad mood after reading it. We all struggle with our own thoughts, but man, this is harsh. Not what I was expecting at all. Dont listen if you are going job hunting. You are liable to just give up.

So funny! Definitely worth a half-hour listen.

A man arguing with his inner dialogue before a job interview. Literarily a work of prose, with excellent voice acting for the audiobook. Satire humor, if you like that. I enjoyed it and will look for more by the author.
