So great for kids!!

My nephew just got a puppy, and the family wants to make sure the puppy is trained well, but we wanted my sister's kid to develop a sense of responsibility for his puppy, and thought the best way to do it would be to have him train it! Found this audiobook, and it was the perfect choice. The content is laid out easily, and understandably for kids, and includes training strategies that are simple enough for kids to learn, and apply.

The narrator is easy to understand without being boring, and the content is arranged in a way that makes it easy for kids to understand

Good for the whole family

With a new-ish puppy in the house, everyone comes over (especially the younger ones) and just wants to play play play. That's great for me and the puppy, however, the pup never learns to respect any of these people. I listened to this audiobook with my nephew and while it's written for kids, it's really written for anyone to comprehend. I thought the book was great and we've already started practicing much of what we learned together. The narration was great as well!

A Helpful Guide for Kids!

My son has been asking for a puppy for a while, and the book comes in handy. It gives the puppy training guide helpfully; catering was my challenge. I am not particularly interested in the training to show the puppy, but he can begin and walk himself with the provided tips here in the audiobook for now.

Family teamwork makes a dog dream works!

When I first foster a dog, I was told that training a dog starts with training the owner. I couldn't find this to be anymore true when I got my first pit-mix. This book contains a good guide to get started on growing your (pet) family. It covers everything on how to pick the right dog, how to prepare your home, how to train your dogs for command, and more importantly, what pitfalls to avoid. I find the book quite informative and agree with the author that it's the whole family effort to raise a puppy that will not turn into a nightmare tearing your home a few years down the road.

Let them be involved!

The book is called ‘how to train your puppy for kids’ so I ignored it for a while, thinking it had nothing to offer to me. How wrong I was! Not only is it written for every dog lover, the author also has a support group we can join. I loved everything about it! Especially how the narrator told it – the tone of the book is exactly how I imagine a book about training a dog would sound. So cool!
I wish I had listened to it earlier though – I would have known not to get my puppy when my house was under repair and I'd have warned everyone in my house. We live, we learn, though.

Superb Puppy Training Guide!

Really love this audiobook. The content is well structured making it easy and fun to follow. I think this audiobook is a must-listen not only for kids but also the whole family who has a puppy in their home. It teaches especially the kids who usually too excited with their new puppies and just want to play all the time but forget to train them. Before you decide to get a new puppy, better to listen to this audiobook first!

A must have for families bringing a new dog home!

I really enjoyed this book. The author and narrator were spot on! I wish this audiobook was around when was raising my dog growing up. Every chapter covers essential information when it comes to raising a puppy for any family, and teaching younger kids in the household is very important. Chapters three through five covering commands, fun games, and tricks are my favorite, as I know from previous experience how rewarding it is to engage your dog in these activities daily. I also appreciate the author including the special gift "The five step challenge", and mentioning his Facebook community for continued engagement with other dog owners. I will recommend this book to all my friends who are puppy owners.

Awesome!

This audiobook is great! It's really easy for me and my cousin to understand and has loads of great information. Some of this information is tricks, and others are about how to train your puppy to eat around you and your children safely. Honestly, I only have older dogs, but I was thinking of getting a puppy sometime soon, and this knowledge seems very powerful.

Overall, this book has a great author and narrator. On top of that, the information is precious to new dog owners, and the information is straightforward to interpret and understand. So, if you have or want a dog, take your shot on this audiobook; it can only help!

Must listen!

A must listen if you have a puppy. It has step by step guide to training your puppy with cool tips and tricks on the way. I found the tips and tricks to be my favourite cause it was so intriguing, Best part not a long listen.
